A Job and Indian Food
Apr. 2nd, 2004 05:15 pmSo
xuth and I went to look at where I'm going to be working this summer. It was wonderful!!! Completely cool with the boxes and the shelves and the papers. I'm entirely intrigued by everything about this job. It's totally cool. I'm extremely relieved that I found this internship considering that at this moment I would be in tears otherwise. The other internship that I had applied for I didn't get but that's ok.
It's going to be about an hour's commute to and from work and luckily the Democratic National Convention is not going to affect me and my ability. But there will be a lot of time spent on the Red Line. *smiles* But it's a darn sight better than walking to work like I did all of last summer...2 miles one way...in KY...in the summer.
We then went to eat at Diva's...which was fantastic. There's nothing quite like Lamb Korma to make my day. *smiles and drools happily* It was wonderful and I was happy. I'm still happy. He had beef curry...and then we stopped by a bookstore where I picked up two books I had been wanting. Now it looks lik
maedbh7 and the boy are going to be running off to a dinner and we'll be left home alone *grins and plots*.
