So I finally get my builder bit back on the MUCK I'm on...and guess what? The lag is back. This leads me to think that it is the bit that causes the issues. The lag is nowhere near as serious as it was before, but it originally started out slowly and then picked up. It looks like I'm going to be writing lots of desc's in notepad and copy-pasting. *sighs*

In other news...I have a crush. I'm not quite sure how it happened. Honestly, it takes a lot for a guy here to catch my eye. (Yes, it is a guy. I'm sooo not ready to put any more women on my plate right now...) Of course, he's in my gaming group. And he's hilarious. And cute. *sighs* I'm not quite sure what to do about it. I tried to call twice today and he wasn't there either time and I don't want to be pushy. Maybe I'll email him? I have no idea.

Other news, it's five days until OVFF!!! I really can't wait to be there. I'm sure no one wants to hear me gush, so just pretend that I did. I'm sure you've all heard it often enough to know what it sounds like.

I was trying to arrange my schedule for next semester...and of course two of the classes I need have to conflict. And of course they only conflict on one day. I'm trying to see if I can't get the prof's to work something out. Who knows...maybe it will turn to my favor. *shrugs* If not there will be a solution, there always is. And, with me being a Junior they will be much more likely to excuse/work with me

I'm trying to start a Pagan Student Association here on campus. We are just about the only religion on campus without a union...so it's about time we got together. I sent out emails and haven't gotten any replies yet. *shrugs* Either it will come together or it won't but I'm hoping it will.

I haven't eaten anything today...and, bluntly, food service is so not sounding exciting to me. Maybe I'll just cook something I have here...I've been craving Lamb Khorma. *sighs* The trials of living in Kentucky.

If it's the bit that causes lag, then something is definitely wrong.

Likely the lag is due to one of the other MUCKs that CL hosts, and it's not your bit... typically a bit won't cause those sorts of problems, (ie: read 'never', where it says 'typically') but a host server that has more than one MUCK dedicated to it will likely find one MU that gets a lot of demands upon it causing the whole block of hosted MU*s to lag.
