I can’t quite describe how happy I am right now. I’ve realized that everything in my life right now is going well. Things are better than ever before with me and J, which is saying a lot because things were never really doing badly. I feel like I’m walking on air and my whole being is just filled with this happiness. The sad part is that I’m leaving in two weeks. It keeps looming closer and I’m a bit scared. I’m going back to Berea a different person than I left it. I’m also going back with different opinions, different goals and different motivations. Things won’t be like they were before and I’m afraid that the sadness and the longing will overwhelm me. But for now, I am happy. I will be happy. And I will savor every moment with him and burn the memory of his touch into my soul so I can feel it from a thousand miles away. I’m his…and now we both know it.
