eiblyn | Weekend Stuff...

So we went to the Sterling Ren Faire in NY. It was wonderful!!! I really love doing that type of thing. The company was wonderful and the costumes (read: eyecandy) was quite impressive. It's a very nice site that is well-spaced with natural water and tons of shade. The musicians were delightful and the banter fun. I bought various items including a new cloak pin, a quill and a new pouch as my old one had broken. Overall it was a very satisfying day.

We stayed in an interesting mobile home for the evening as every hotel in the state of NY was booked. But it was cool because there was space for all of us and we were effectively all in the same room. There was privacy, a kitchen and stuff. I would certainly enjoy sharing space with everyone there again.

Overall it was one of the best weekends I've had in a VERY long time. I realized that I only have four full weekends and one half weekend left before I go back to KY. One of those is to be spent in Salem, one in NYC, one in Maine camping. So that means I really only have one weekend left without plans. Oh wait...that weekend is my b-day and we do have plans....so basically it looks like I have almost zero time left and it's driving me crazy. Luckily the last two weeks I'm here I don't have to work. So if you want some of my time better take a number because I will soon be impersonating a tourist *grins*.
