So Car has something wrong with her again. We, frankly, don't have the energy and money to keep pouring into her. Today we went and looked at buying a new car. We can't really decide what it is exactly that we want. We are debating on getting a VW Jetta, Toyota Corolla or Honda Accord. Anyone have any thoughts? We're most focused on gas mileage with thoughts to backseat room as we need to fit two adults and a carseat on a semi-regular basis. *sighs* I hate the thought of spending so much money. [livejournal.com profile] elvnsword and I looked over it and it appears that we don't have much wiggle room with a car payment and the increase in car insurance. We're still adjusting to having half the income we had for the last year since he is, thankfully, back from Iraq. We have good credit and all that, just have to actually make a decision. *blah*t

Hi Mei Mei! I'm trying to get caught up on LJ - I miss you and I'm glad [livejournal.com profile] elvnsword is home! I hope the re-connection smooths out and I'm sending lots of love your way.

As for the car - yes, they can be expensive, but a good new car will last a long time and see you thru alot. Where are you shopping? Have you looked at AAFES new car sales? As much as I despise AAFES, we got a fantastic deal on our Dodge and now our sweetheart [livejournal.com profile] sweetellygant has it and it has seen her thru a yucky winter.

It's a good investment. And you and yours will be safer in a reliable car.

*hugs* Good luck. All the ones you mentioned are good cars, but my votes on the Toyota.
