I didn't manage to get the pumpkin I picked up for Samhain carved. So now I am cutting it into sections and baking it. When it's nice and soft, I'm going to blend it and freeze it to use to make pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving and whatever I want to make with it. It was starting to get mushy and turn in some places, so I trimmed that off and just baked the firm parts. I'm waiting for the first set to get done baking. Then I think I'll take a break for a bit. What are some of your favorite pumpkin treats?

There are few things finer than pumpkin bread with pecans and some chevre goat cheese.

No joke - pumpkin bread, pecans, goat cheese - 3 great tastes that go great together.

Ok. That's different. I'll have to see what I can dig up *smiles*.

Chevre is very similar to philadelphia cream cheese, if that's what you can lay your hands on.

Ok. In that case, I may try Frischkase which is the German version of cream cheese but isn't exactly the same. It has a slightly different taste but the same texture.

Toasted pumpkin seeds, maybe with a bit of sugar glaze. :d (Also, pumpkin bread, but that already got mentioned).
