I'm leaving for the women's march at 4:30pm today and I'm really excited. It's a few hours away and I still have some things I should do. I need to get dressed and pack a blanket, a water bottle, my wallet and my homework (a book called Sooner We Will Not Cry by Cynthia Griggs Fleming that is about an African-American activist) so that I can be a productive member of my society. The ride to Cinci will be interesting with the mix of people leaving from Berea. Everything from women who only become activist when provoked (such as I am) to women who protest most things in their lives because of the injustices they see around them. The conversations will be interesting and I look forward to singing and political debate. I'm going to check the weather in DC for the weekend in just a second to make sure I wear the right clothes (yes...I am typing nekkie...). Anyway, duty and justice calls. *grins lopsidedly*
