Today Mom and I went downtown to Heidelberg. Mom wanted to get tea for Black. We picked out about six different kinds for him. I helped some with the sniffing and such *grins*. I enjoy being a tea sniffer.

Then we went to LUSH. *happy sigh* And we had excellent timing. They are doing winter clearance right now. We got a grab bag with 75Euro worth of products for 25Euro. We also got about 25Euro worth of other soaps. So we got 100Euro worth of soaps and bathballs for 50Euro. Then tonight I took some time and filled the bathtub up high. I settled in and used one of my new soaps. My skin feels fantastic. I feel relaxed. Life is good. I had forgotten the power of Lush and a good sized bathtub to soothe my soul.

Pretty soon though, I think there may be a baby. I had contractions today that were 30 seconds to a minute long for five minutes then I would have a break for thirty minutes. So that's a good sign. My body is starting to get more serious about practicing to have this baby. We're 18 days away from my due date. That's kinda hard to believe, but it seems like an eternity at the same time.

We got a ton of stuff. Most of it was bath balls. But there were four bars of soap that I can't remember the names of off the top of my head. Right now I'm really liking the Avowash I bought myself. I've kinda been trying to move away from what I used to use all the time. Sorta like new scents for new times and places. I was crazy about Honey I Washed The Kids for a bit. I picked up some Ice Blue Soap, Miranda and Sultana of Soap. My mom picked up some Sandstone and another citrus one. I love body butter bars too. I'm going to go back and pick one up before [livejournal.com profile] elvnsword comes back for his leave in July/August. *eyebrow waggle*

And yeah...baby is so exciting!!

I haven't really gotten into the soaps yet (I have too much soap already to get through; lots of free samples from everywhere), but I do love their American Cream and Retread hair conditioners, I love 'Sympathy for the Skin' and I LOVE aromacreme deodorant/anti-perspirant. It works where so many others have not. Actually, the other solid ones work well too but I'm in love with aromacreme's scent.

My hubby got me a whole bag of bubble bars and ballistics to cheer me up when i was poorly (bless him!) and I've been having fun with them, thought mostly I've been using them to scent my workshop. I need to take time for more baths; usually I just shower.

I've found that I'm not liking the facial cleansers/masks so much. The glycerin content makes them feel oily on my skin. Blech.
