The loveseat was delivered and looks fantastic. All the furniture matches in some way now. The living room is really starting to come together. Mom brought up the dark wood coffee table and it looks much better contrasted with all the golds in the room. It is looking good and I *LUV* it.
Mom and I went to the holiday bazaar today. I helped Mom buy a painting and it is too awesome. It's a snarling wolf. It's hanging over my dining table for now. But it will certainly go with Mom when she gets her own place. For now, it is nice and intimidating in the living room. It makes me feel safer. It doesn't strike me as anger inducing so much as protective.
We also finished the first of the jumpers we are making. I think that it needs to have trim at the bottom of the bodice part of the jumper to help it blend into the skirt. I cut out the bodice of the second one and we've got it put together tonight. We're trying a couple of different styles with putting the gathers in different positions on the jumpers. The first jumper was gathered all along the skirt top. The second jumper is being gathered along the back of the jumper with the front meshing smoothly. The next jumper is going to be gathered on the sides under the arms. I'm just trying to figure out which style looks the best on me but still accomodates my growing belly.
I went and turned in my paperwork today to schedule my next ultrasound. That appointment should be made the week of the 5th of November.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
elvnsword has to be checked for cystic fibrosis. I got a call back today about a little bit of an abnormality with my testing and so they are trying to determine if elvnsword and I are both cystic fibrosis carriers, because if we are, then there is a 25% chance that our baby may have it. That chance is pretty small; elvnsword hasn't been tested yet. And I'm pretty confident that everything is fine, but if anyone has any good energy to send that would be appreciated. I've been praying about it myself and have a sense of calm now.
