Today has been my lazy day. I stayed in bed until almost 11am. I'm going to head over to the store a bit later to look at and lust after some digital cameras. I'm probably not going to get one though as my taste in cameras is quite a bit more expensive than elvnsword's, thanks xuth *wink*. Not to say that I'll be spending a ton when I do get one, but I've had my eye on a nice little model for around $300. I'd love to pick it up before my trip so I can take pictures of all the cool places and things I'll see. If nothing else, I'm going to pick up some disposables back in the states.

My plants are very happy. My big tomato plant has about forty tomatoes on it. The smaller ones have been steadily growing in size. The cucumber plants both have flowers on them now. No visible fruit yet, but they are getting there. My fruit on my bell pepper plants are starting to change colors. The herbs are all growing like crazy now that they are outside. Feels good to look out on my balcony. I'm going to see if I can't find someone who would like a peppermint plant sometime soon. I have two pots full of it and don't need that much. It may not be the prettiest peppermint, but it has a good strong flavor. I might give it to the lady who said she would come water my plants and feed the cats for me when elvnsword and I are both gone.

As I was writing my comment, it occurred to me that that might be the case. I have a friend who once made a round-trip trip across the Atlantic just to buy a laptop. The money he saved was more than the cost cross-pond flight (he was flying from India to Europe so I doubt the difference between the India-US-Europe price and the India-Europe price was nearly what a normal transatlantic rt would be--but still).
