Day Report

So today has been grand. elvnsword and I went out together and spent some time with just us. We bought my new wedding ring. We upgraded as the last one was bent and threatening to blemish. We also bought some new kitchen knives (a pair of chef quality knives for $50...), a salt lamp and some headphones. I've got a pork roast in the crockpot and we're going to eat it with some green beans and brown rice. It smells delicious. Overall, I'm feeling pretty good.

What's a salt lamp??? Is it a grinder like a pepper mill, but for rock salt?

Guess what - you'll be here in ONE MONTH!!!! Not that I'm counting the days or anything...

A salt lamp is a large piece of rock salt that is hollowed out and fitted with a light kit. The light makes the salt glow. This link has some great pictures of what they look like lit.
