eiblyn | First Day of Work & Stuff

Yesterday went really well. The kids were, well, kids. They listened fairly well and over half the classes finished their assignments. I spent the afternoon working in the library. I shifted a bunch of shelves for the librarian, did some shelf reading and shelved a few books. Overall, not a bad way to make $90. I was exhausted when I got home though.

elvnsword and my mom made dinner last night. It was delicious and it gave me the opportunity to relax after working. I had to take a nap too. Man, teaching will take it out of you.

Today, we started out the day with some yogurt and fruit smoothies in my new blender. It rocks the socks and crushes ice like no ones business. Then, Mom and I went downtown. We picked up some stuff I needed from the organic store. We also grabbed something simple from a bakery and relaxed in the park. It was beautiful and definitely worth the time/money to go downtown. Tonight I cooked. We had some lightly browned catfish, a "greek" salsa topping, radish home fries and a nice salad. The food was good and the dishwasher is humming along in my clean kitchen. Today was a good day.
