And so I have now moved the vast majority of the dirty clothes from the bedroom to the laundry area. I've also started a load. I've folded a load and put three loads away. I have another load waiting for me to fold it. Blah. I hate laundry sometimes. I think what frustrates me is that it seems so pointless. Cooking I get a sense of satisfaction from because I'm creating something that is enjoyable and brings pleasure to those that smell it, eat it and look at it. Laundry is just...well...laundry. At least I don't have to wash it all by hand. I'm grateful that I have a washing machine and don't have to go to the laundromat anymore like I had to do in Georgia. I'm also grateful that I have a machine in my apartment rather than down in the basement so I don't have to lug it all up and down three flights of stairs. Yeah...I definitely need to focus on the positives. Did I mention my curtains look beautiful? They really brighten up the room too.

EDIT: Something to actually be excited about...my nifty new biodegradable soap got here!! Yay!

I think the marketing departments agree with you. Have you noticed how lately they try to make laundry smelling of certain things the ultimate high? Then again it's better than the years of shameful admonishment ("ring around the collar" etc...).

I hate laundry too, and often go through the same thought process.
