Awake *stretches*

Well, I accidentally took a nap yesterday. Accidentally in that I had been intending to do something entirely different when I laid down on the bed for a few minutes and woke up an hour later. As such, I am now awake, completely awake mind you, at 6am. That would be 11pm Oklahoma time. That's ok though. I had been intending to start my meditation exercises today and so now I have plenty of time to do so before elvnsword comes back for breakfast.

I started my music exercises yesterday. That was pretty exciting. I also looked into the requirements for joining the AODA (Ancient Order of Druids in America). I'm going to see about applying for membership after we get paid on the 15th. It requires an application letter and then I can begin my official studies and move towards the 1st degree. After the 2nd degree I can apply for the priesthood. I fully intend to study as much as I can and join the official priesthood because it will make certain bits of paperwork *much* easier and because I've always wanted to do it anyway.

We go to file our taxes today. Hoorah...or something like that. Hopefully, we'll get all the money back. Or at least a big chunk of it. I also have to call about the car in two hours or so and sincerely hope that we can get an extension of the time it's allowed to stay there as it is impossible for us to take the driver's test until Tuesday.

I found out today that I have to pick it up by the 21st of February. That may seem like a long time, but the next test to get a driver's license that elvnsword can go to is the 19th and if he doesn't pass it, then neither of us can take the test until the morning of the 21st. Keep in mind, it's not an easy test. elvnsword has already taken it twice. I haven't taken it yet because I've been out of the country for the last three weeks. I'm going to try and talk to the liason for these things today and hopefully arrange for a bit of an extension (probably a week tops).

Oh, man, that totally stinks. Is there no one else that can pick it up for you if you go with them or something? I'm holding out that you guys will ace the driving test thing!

We have to get a special waiver in order to have someone else pick it up. It is possible though. I have to call the office tomorrow. Unfortunately, everything is after a four day weekend so it is next to impossible to get anything done quickly right now. And I found out that elvnsword can't take the test until the same day that I do because you have to pass the test within two months of having the lecture and he had the lecture the 12th of December.
