Hallo! We have arrived! OK, so we got here yesterday. Germany is pretty. We have had some issues with rudeness and the attitude towards Americans seems to be different than the last time I was here. Although, realistically, it may be that the attitude towards soldiers has changed. We are living in temporary housing and should be into permanent housing within the next week or so. Of course, this is after the army declined to tell us that the hotel we were staying in was coming out of our pockets and they would reimburse. One hundred and ninety-seven Euro later...for two nights...yeah.
Right now, I am sitting in my brother and sister-in-law's kitchen. They are scrambling us some eggs and we're going to work on Thanksgiving. I'm making the German Chocolate cake. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone out there. Warm wishes and lots of love.

I will be in Bonn until Dec. 6 when I go to Frankfurt. On Dec. 7 I head to Switzerland. Herreiden doesn't seem very convenient for getting together but maybe in Frankfurt??
