Moments of Calm in the Chaos

This morning we accomplished the following:

• Cat appointment that included certification for their trip to Europe
  
• Researching and acquiring a hotel reservation
  
• Acquiring directions to the hotel and from the hotel to the car drop off point
  

This may not seem like much but trust me when I say that this is a ton to be done considering that we got in from our roadtrip at roughly 1am. The cat appointment was at 9am and took roughly an hour. We have also acquired trash bags and will be departing momentarily to accomplish a growing list of things.

• Empty car of all things to go in hold baggage
  
• Dishes
  
• Vacuuming entire carpet on hands and knees (gets up all the cat hair which is necessary before the shampooing)
  
• Moving all of hold baggage into living room

So, on to Europe for the holidays, eh? Remember to take time to rest and watch a movie or something. You can't work on this kind of stuff for hours on end and expect to remain sane. ;)

Phew. That is alot. Once you're back in Germany - just in time for Weinachten, you will remember the good points... also, you'll get to go shop the Christmas Markets!

Eat a Kinder Egg for me and hopefully you'll get something with wheels that you can give the cats to play with! Louise always loved playing with kinder egg toys - oh, and if you crumble up the outer wrapper and put it inside the yellow plastic egg, it makes a great toy too!!
