No, I do not yet have internet. But here's my two cents for the moment. I'm moving to Germany the 20th of November. I know, that may be a shock to some people. Life, in general, is going better and I'm starting to see options for myself that weren't immediately obvious in pursuing this path. There's a program that the army is currently running for military spouses that helps them get teaching certification for any state that they happen to want it for. *happy dance* So that means I have some options as far as my education goes.
Until then, it is the flight of the bumble bee to try and get things ready for the move. Our main household goods shipment is hopefully going to be on the 6th. The cats get certified to go to Europe on the 15th. Our last shipment of stuff is on the 16th and we ship the car and fly on the 20th. There isn't really as much time as it sounds. We spent most of today cleaning and sorting through clothes to go to Goodwill before we leave. We also have a ton more things to take care of in our stuff. But doing it together makes it easier this time.
elvnsword graduated from AIT on last Wednesday. My parents came up to see him and it was nice. The ceremony wasn't quite as dignified as I think it should have been but it wasn't too bad. I'm so proud of him!! It's not easy to get through AIT; especially not in an MOS like his. So congratulations to him.

Date: 2006-11-11 09:41 pm (UTC)From:Anyway, best wishes on your move and I hope it all works out. I know you told me where you were heading to but I forgot (other than somewhere vaguely in the Frankfurt area).
I will be Germany for almost two weeks. I arrive in Bonn on Thursday, 11/23 and finish up there Wed. 12/6. I will be working Fri, Sat, Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun, and Tues from about 3 pm on. I suspect that I will be traveling to Frankfurt on 12/6 and spending the night there. Then, that day or the next, I will be heading to England.
Let me know if there's any chance of getting together.
And good luck on everything!
