And so the opening of the journal begins. I met with

firespiral on Sunday. It was great fun and we talked for two hours. During the course of that meeting, I figured out some things. One thing I figured out was that by friends locking my journal I effectively took myself out of the pool to have great meetings with people like

firespiral. If her journal had been friends locked, then I would have never seen her entries and would not have friended her. Did I mention that she's an awesome, insightful person who makes me think about things? And so, this is a problem. I decided to open up my journal. Of course, things will still be filtered. But maybe I need to put myself more out there. Maybe there are tons of really great and special people that I should and would enjoy talking with but they can't find me because I'm too busy keeping people out and hiding myself.
