Baking Pumpkin
Nov. 9th, 2008 09:40 pmI didn't manage to get the pumpkin I picked up for Samhain carved. So now I am cutting it into sections and baking it. When it's nice and soft, I'm going to blend it and freeze it to use to make pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving and whatever I want to make with it. It was starting to get mushy and turn in some places, so I trimmed that off and just baked the firm parts. I'm waiting for the first set to get done baking. Then I think I'll take a break for a bit. What are some of your favorite pumpkin treats?
