So Mom and I went to the PX. We picked up some containers that are clear. They will fit four across on the shelves we got for the baby. So we sorted her clothes by size and style and put them into the clear containers without the lids. That let us set it up so I can get to her clothes very easily without constantly grabbing the wrong size. And it gives me a chance to make sure her clothes get cycled through. I also got two pots ready for planting as soon as the seeds I got in earlier are ready to transplant. I also mixed up some more soil to go into containers. It needs to rest for two or three days though. I'm reading the book Sacred Land when I go out and have wait times. It's been helpful in helping me to get more in tune with the spirit of the soil and to focus on my own instincts of how to get things ready. It feels good. I'm starting to get that sense of peace from getting my hands dirty that I had before. I'm endeavoring not to overload myself by starting early enough that I can do things one or two at a time as opposed to having to jump in all at once and get all the plants in. Because everything I planted has different sprouting times, I can get the early sprouters in when they are ready and then have time after that to get ready for the next sprouters. I'm debating putting all of my herbs in together in one large pot rather than having them in five or six small pots. Anyone have any experience with that? Does it make the herbs act funny?
