Trip Update
Jul. 5th, 2007 09:54 amAnd so I made it WA safely. I'm in
poly_good_girl's house. She and the rest of her tribe are at work. So today is my recuperating day. I, of course, woke up about 5am. I'm probably going to take a thirty minute nap in a bit.
Drum and all luggage made it safely. I made all of my flights and even managed to sleep a bit. So far this trip has reminded me a dozen times over that this is the right path for me to be walking. It is almost enough to move me to tears to see how much the Goddess has been manifesting herself in every step that I've taken. From the random acts of kindness to the kinds of coincidences in acquaintances worthy of The Celesting Prophecy, she has spent the last two days working hard to let me know this is the right path.
poly_good_girl and tribe have a very nice garden. I was, of course, drawn outside to take pictures. I took about ten or so. I forgot my upload cord though so I can't post any of them. But while out there, I had a spider jump down onto my camera and hands. Then I saw a dragonfly and managed to snap two quick pictures when it landed. Neither of them are particularly stellar, but that is two of my three animal totems that I know of showing up within minutes of each other.
Did I mention the energy in WA state is amazing? What does one do when they fall in love with a region they can't afford to live in? It is quite the conundrum.
