Awake Early

elvnsword did this morning and gave my mom a call. She seems to be doing better than last time I talked to her and I'm going to go visit in the next few weeks.
I'm kinda enjoying the quiet although I can tell that a nap is going to be important later if I don't go now. I didn't get much of my cleaning done yesterday so I have to catch up on all of that stuff. I am not in as bad of a place as I could be...It is slowly getting cleaner than it was in GA and I think that's a good thing.
I go to take my driver's test today to get my driver's license for Germany. I'm pretty sure I'll pass since I studied a lot last week and did well on a practice test. Hopefully, that will work out so I can register the car and pick it up from the shipping point.
It will be nice to have a car again for when I absolutely need it, but I'm still planning to do most of my traveling through walking. I like buying groceries once a week and having a menu plan. It cuts down on how often we eat out and I get to experiment with more recipes. I have started cooking vegetarian meals two or three times a week. I like that.
