Possible Success

The constitution for the Pagan Coalition goes before the approval board on Monday. I'm really hoping that it works out well and becomes what we want it to be. I'm pretty confident that we'll get positive votes and become an official club. A lot of this stems for the almost unilateral support we've received from the administration helping us to get things together. Also, everyone I've had the opportunity to speak to acknowledges that there is no support for pagan students here and that this club is sorely needed on campus. I feel like I've accomplished something for once. I got a group of people together and formed a club. And other people are interested in this club. We're hoping to get approved next week so that we can do a Brushy Fork Clean-up for a project on Labor Day. There's no telling if that will work out or not but that would be wonderful. I'm trying not to get my hopes too high, but we've jumped through every hoop and followed every rule so they would have an awful lot of explaining and backpedaling to do if they decided not to approve us. Never thought I'd see the day that there was a pagan club at Berea College...but the times, they are achangin'.

The Insanity Continues

It's that time of semester again where people start to plan out their lives. Registration comes up in the first week of May and we all have to be prepared for that. It looks like I'll have to overload next semester unless the computer science department decides to count my job this summer as an internship. I'm trying not to hold my breath on that though as that department seems determined to screw me over. The back up plan is the schedule below for my week. Yes, that is five classes. Yes, three of those classes are three hundred level. Yes, I will have to take an overload. Everyone pray it works out well, but I'm pretty sure I can handle it all.
