Colposcopy Horror

For those of you who don't know I happen to have the Grand Canyon in my pants. No seriously...most of my doctors are incapable of finding my cervix during my tri-monthly exam. That's right, I said tri-monthly. And why you might ask, would anyone need to look at my vagina that often? It appears that I have had abnormal pap smears for the last year and that the report from the cytologist (the person who interprets pap smears)has been suggesting for the past year I have a colposcopy. I'm nervous. I've heard that it hurts so everyone light candles and pray to your prospective deities because we're going in boys. My procedure is scheduled for the 2nd of December at 1:30pm. I'm supposed to take two days off after the procedure to recover. *sniffles and is scared* And special thanks to the Blonde Lesbian and my Semi-Domestic Partner for being willing to take me and hold my hand.
