Got up on time and would have been to work also except my wallet decided that this morning was the right time to play hide and seek. I found it and got to work roughly ten minutes late which isn't too bad considering I spent almost twenty minutes looking for it.
African History went ok but I think I talk too much. The problem is that there is a participation grade and so I need to talk in order to get that. I only answered questions for half the class but it made me feel awkward when he would call on me to see if I had something to add to just about every question. That's usually my sign that I'm dominating the topic too much.
I chose my research topic for my scholarly essay in African History. I'm going to write about the Candaces. The Candaces were a series of queens that I believe ruled in Meroe (I'll have to check on that). But research on that will commence this week.
Also, I had a totally kickass lunch. Vegetarian noodle soup. I can't really put into words how great it is but very savory and the crunch of veggies. It made me happy.
I need to see about getting my program finished that's due tomorrow so I can work on other things. Too much on the plate...yes there is.
