So after the rant of yesterday I feel compelled to tell you all that work was bounds better today. I was given enough assignments to easily keep me busy this week. A good half of them are dealing with programming aspects that I'm not familiar with yet and need to be if I'm going to do any programming. I was greatly encouraged to seek out the information I need to catch up in the game. So I'm busy trying to do that while also plugging along at the research aspects of things. This is keeping me much more busy and motivating me to work at home again, which I need to do as I'm a few hours behind (ok...more than a few but that isn't all my fault).
I scheduled a therapy appointment for Thursday. That's the day after my follow-up with my primary care provider. My appointment is tomorrow at 2:45pm. If anyone has some warm thoughts available around that time I'd appreciate having them thrown in my direction. I hate doctor's appointments.
I played guitar again today. It's been so long since I played regularly that I have no semblance of calluses on my fingertips. This reminds me that at the next con I go to I want to pick up a basic song book so that I can learn to play some sing-alongs. I have been meaning to get one for over a year now, it just always slips my mind when I have the opportunity. I had forgotten how beautiful my guitar can sound...even when it's me playing it. The sad news is that I've forgotten how to play the majority of the songs I have written. *le sigh*
