Today was my first day of work at my summer job. Honestly, things could have been better. My laptop ended up needing to be re-imaged. I also spent an hour and a half taking notes on a book and those notes all disappeared. But there are definite perks to my job. I only have to show up in the office for the daily meetings. I can work from home and I can work any hours I want to just so long as I get in 40 hours during the week. I get to wear jeans and t-shirts. Life is good.
I got back my huge paper for history. I got a B- on it. Ironically, I got back my final exam and I got an A- on it. So the grades were the opposite of what I thought they would be, but I should still be getting a B in the class. I'm a bit relieved as I got the B- before I saw the A-.
I cooked a decent dinner tonight and now it's just me as Bobby has headed off to work. I'm thinking I may just relax for a bit and maybe drink some coffee or tea. A bath wouldn't suck but I'm still afraid of the shower curtain. I'm going to wash it on Saturday. Now to read more about robots.
