Today was my last official day of classes! I'm so happy. This has been one of the toughest semesters so far and it appears I will be coming out of it with an A and at least 1 B+ with the other grades being B's. I still have three papers to write (20, 8 and 5 pages) and most of them are due early next week. I also have 15 hours of labor still but I can do that no sweat. I'm just so relieved that I made it!!! I also have now taken my last women's studies class on this campus ever! *rejoices* I'm really happy today and just in a general good mood.

On a different note...my women's studies class today was discussing music. Does anyone have suggestions of some artists that have consistently positive messages about women that are relatively mainstream? We came up with Eryakah Baduh (wow does that spelling suck), Ani DiFranco and a few others but I was interested if anyone here had suggestions or ideas. I'm thinking about creating a compilation CD for the women in my class of positive empowering music.
