Two more days until I venture further south. I check into the dorm in Sherman on Sunday afternoon. I have a million questions to ask the RA and about as many worries. I am going to do my best though. The only pre-req for this class is high school chemistry which I recall getting a B+ in and thoroughly enjoying. So we can all hope for the best. I'm beginning to wonder if perhaps I should have taken an english class but such is life.
It's so hard to believe that I only have three real semesters left at Berea. It all seems to be going at light speed and excruciatingly slow at the same time. But I recall high school working roughly the same way. The ending of this semester made my world round again...did I mention no more German classes ever!?!?! *does the happy dance again*
I'm really looking forward to my trip to Boston. It's been over a month since I've seen J and I'm starting to feel it. It makes me sad to only get to see him on occasion but I suppose that is life. I really am going to make a concerted effort to see other people this time. I believe Thanksgiving dinner was the epitome of my socializing last trip and I didn't get to see near as many people as I have missed. I have yet to buy the plane tickets though. *sighs* I need to pay off my term bill first but I'm sure I have enough money. I'm not spending any of my Christmas money just in case. Which kinda sucks in it's own way. I really wanted to be able to buy some D&D books, but I suppose the PDF's will do for now.
I've been working on reading a book I picked up this summer with J and never actually got around to reading. It's The Druid by Jean Markale. I'm really enjoying it. It's a bit dense at times but it seems to be covering the subject well and dispelling quite a few popular myths. The research seems to be solid but I will, of course, be looking for other opinions and contradictions.
