eiblyn | Good Thanksgiving

I spent the last week at my grandparent's house. It's been really nice. We had a great dinner that my grandma and I cooked. It was a lot easier for both of us to be able to split up what we cooked and to have someone to talk to. Both of us are used to cooking on our own for Thanksgiving. The turkey was awesome. We cooked it in spices and beer.

I got to see my Dad too. That has gone well. He and I even got a little time to talk to ourselves despite all the rest of the family being around all the time. He and I talked about some real stuff and he apologized for some things he said in the past that he regrets. It was surprising and very nice. At the same time, it was so awesome to realize that I wasn't hurt by it anymore anyway. He apologized, but there was no great sigh of relief or anything. I had already worked through his words in therapy.

I declined to go out for Black Friday shopping. It would have been nice to have gotten a coffee pot for $3, but really, my nice cozy bed was better. All of my clothes are washed and ready to go. Tomorrow I head back on the journey. And I get to pick up
