Ultrasound Today

So I went to my first ultrasound today. That went well. We got to see the baby. There's only one in there. Which is good and quite a relief. Also, it is growing normally. The baby is 13 weeks and 6 days old today. I got to see it kicking in there. I tried to upload scans of my pictures, but they don't seem to want to upload. Holy crap!!! I'm having a baby!

I also found some German stores with good clothing choices for babies. We picked up about $30 worth of clothes. They are incredibly cute. I love shopping for baby clothes. I just wish they had maternity clothes in bigger sizes here. I also need to see about buying nursing bras slowly. I'm not exactly sure what size bra I wear now. Some of the bras from my mom fit great now when they used to be loose, but the cute bras I bought myself of t-shirt material don't fit anymore. The cups are definitely different sizes but the tags say the same thing. That is frustrating because I don't know which one is the truer size.

I'm glad the ultrasound went well! Must be pretty awesome to actually *see* a little growing human inside yourself!

Only thing I've ever gotten to see on an ultrasound was a cyst.... definately doesn't compare.

I can't even tell you how deep of an experience it was. I almost started crying when the doctor said everything was ok. I got to see its face!! I've been meaning to write you too. I think we just needed some time to breathe. Living with anyone in close quarters like that when it was unexpected would strain any relationship. I love you too. I've been thinking about you a lot. I'm glad to read things are going pretty well there. *hugs*
