Overall, we had a really wonderful weekend and a good visit to my in-laws. It went much better than I was afraid it would. They are nice people but we don't always get along so well. But the visit went very well. I got to see the Moonbow and Cumberland Falls. We went to a little festival called McCreary Fest. Emphasis on the small. We made it back to GA yesterday at 7pm. Of course, that was an hour too late forelvnsword's formation. Apparently some informational wires got crossed. Here's hoping he doesn't get into too much trouble for it. After he checked in with his company, we went and bought cat food and grabbed some dinner at Olive Garden. They have a new sauce that is sun dried tomatoes and parmesan. It was fantastic. Next we went home and he packed to go to his field exercise for the rest of the week. We passed out somewhere around midnight.
We were up at 3:45am today. I drove him to post and dropped him off at work. Afterwards, I went home and crashed. I spent four or so hours cleaning in the living room today and now I'm at the library. I came to turn in my library books that were checked out and get a new book to read while doing laundry. The book I had on hold before I went to Boston finally came in so I got it.
I have the next three days by myself withelvnsword in the field. I'm going to try and clean up our apartment. It still looks like a disaster from the time I spent in Boston. I'm going to try and work on one region of the apartment a day and get it cleaned up. Today I started on the living room and am taking a break on post to do laundry. The laundry desperately needs to be done and it gets me out of the house before I murder our cats *sighs at them*. Talk about a mess when we got home!!
