Woot! I Rock!

So we went and got the Jeep inspected today for its registration. That took most of the morning. After that, I swung by the SORT Center (recycle drop off point). I was hoping to find a filing cabinet to take home. We've really been needing one, and you can get things there for free or very, very cheap. Well, I didn't find a filing cabinet. Instead, I got a new-to-us computer chair! I had priced a chair last week at about $70 but the one I found for free is more comfortable than that one was and it was, obviously, cheaper. I love rescuing things. It does need a little cleaning up on the fabric, but it's comfy and fits under the desk! Woot!

I also went to the doctor for my last check up in Mannheim today. I gained 2.25lbs from the last time I got weighed. Not too bad overall. And my blood pressure is fantastic (121/69). My doctor congratulated me on that and assuaged my fears about my amniotic fluid. I have 19.5cm of amniotic fluid, not 7.95cm, which thought I had read over the German doctor's shoulder. I'm not dehydrated! Woot!

Now, there's just Lady's appointment with the vet to get her checked out for running into walls and missing jumps. She's getting her eyes checked. I have no idea how much that is going to cost. I'm going to have to move over some money to pay for it. I don't know what I was thinking scheduling this appointment for the end of the pay period!
