Been A Bit Rough

Went to turn in the rental car today. There were two decent scratches on the car that I neither put there nor were there when I picked up the car. Regardless, it is up to me to take care of it as I can't prove someone else did it and it's my name on the bill. As such, I call my insurance company. They are going to treat each scratch as an individual at-fault collision accident. This means that if I claim it on my insurance I'll have two black marks on my insurance, which is Not Good since I'm not quite 23 yet and my insurance rate could sky rocket. Additionally, this means that each scratch has to cost over my $250 deductible for me to be able to claim it. So we're looking at just paying for the repairs, which shouldn't be too ridiculous. But now we need to figure out whether or not to rent a car for the 4th of July or try to figure out train fare to the airport for me. I've never ridden the German train system and I'm a bit intimidated.

I read my cards today and they told me that things are tough right now. Things are going to keep being tough and there will be unexpected adversaries and the like. But to not give up. That I'm beginning a new life and making good decisions. I'm trying to keep all of this in mind and stay positive.
