I guess it all balances out...
May. 8th, 2007 04:06 pmI got called in to work this afternoon. The kids were pretty good. It was at the elementary school. They were fourth graders. It wasn't anything too complicated.
But the car died today. As in, I went downstairs and turned the key and it didn't start. The lights lit up but the starter didn't turn over. It did click though. I'm not sure exactly what's wrong. It could be something as simple as spark plugs (which I haven't changed since I got the car) to something like the starter needing to be replaced. I need to call the auto shop on post tomorrow and change my appointment on the 21st to something more substantial than getting the brakes checked. And we're going to have to get it towed to the shop.
Today was a rough day. I'm tired. I'm sitting sipping a strong rum and coke and eating sunflower seeds. Hopefully
elvnsword will get off close to on time. I sent mom to the PX. I was just really snappy and needed some time to cool off because I kept snapping at her too. I can always ride my bicycle most places. We don't technically need the car until the end of June but it would be nice to have it work out.
Tell me you all had better days.
