eiblyn: (day)
I am up and mostly awake. I'm going to get dressed and brush my teeth so I get to work in the next 15 minutes. I need to work 3.5 hours today. I'm going to work from 9am to 11am and then add a half hour onto my normal afternoon. Feels good to be me today. I need to call in my prescriptions so I can pick them up at 11am. I also need to call my doctor's office and see about getting a refill of Allegra through them. Might switch over to Allegra-D.

Winter clothes are being unpacked as time passes. I have roughly 6 loads of summer laundry to do and pack away this week. But I feel so much better after running away to Cinci. I just feel more like me and more centered. I'm thinking about cooking the roast generously provided by [livejournal.com profile] jinny_e in the crockpot generously provided by [livejournal.com profile] supurrkitten & [livejournal.com profile] bastardcat. I should probably acquire a mixing bowl at some point so I can mix up my bread dough again.

Feels good to be me today. Come and dance with me...

So I cooked up a concoction using the Indian sauce I bought a few weeks ago, some red lentils, tilapia, onions and yellow raisins. It was fabulous. The lentils cooked down perfectly. I've got the venison roast in the crockpot for dinner tonight with some onions and potatoes. I really wish I had a mixing bowl so I could mix up some bread dough. *sighs* Anyone have one to lend for the day? I do have one large bowl that I could use...I don't think the Lady would mind if I used that bowl as cooking is some of the only magick I do right now and it renews my soul...I'll have to think on that a bit. I don't have any eggs though so this is mostly a rambling discussion with no point. Except of course to say that food makes me happy.

Roast was fabulous. I had good company and good times. I worked out half of the paper I'm using for my grad school app. I have not yet seriously studied for my mid-term. I can't remember if it is tomorrow or Friday. I am planning to go over the review questions for each of the chapters that we have covered so far. I have the meeting tomorrow about the grant for the Boston trip. I finally acquired an expandable curtain rod only to find that it is too short for my windows. I'll take it back next time I get out. I really want to curl up with a companion and sleep. Soon my heart...
