And so you might ask why it is that I'm the only worker that came into work today. If you asked this, I would probably grumble at you and proceed to speak the following rant:

Because the people I work with don't consider me important and did not deign to tell me that I could take today off if I wanted. Since I showed up, I'm expected to work. I hate this shit. How about the email informing us we could take today off went out 20 minutes after I clocked into work...I hate this. Even worse is that I'm here until 6pm today as that's the time when Bobby can pick me up from work (many thanks to him for being willing to pick me up at all). Every time I think it's getting better and I stop worrying about this job, they throw some shit like this at me. I've been spending this whole day familiarizing myself with Linux and programming in a Linux environment (as if I didn't remember how to do that...). Although I have been learning some things I didn't know, I seriously doubt they are going to be useful. Now to learn about sockets....I really wish I had gone home for the summer.
