*chuckles wryly*

And so I have my paper written and am currently on break at work. Ironically, the paper isn't due until tomorrow. I didn't even check the real schedule of finals to find out when it was due, I had written in my planner to finish it by today and so I did. That means all I have left to do tonight is write the 3-4 page paper on Jacob the Liar. This relieves me immensely because I also will be able to finish out my labor contract this week with no problems. So the only stress now is how to feed myself for 3 weeks on $50 or how to go 3 weeks without a cell phone. Realistically, I'll probably skip the cell phone or ask my mom to send me the check for my phone bill instead of sending it to the company so that I can switch to a contract. I've been wary of contracts as I've seen that people are much more willing to deal with my complaints if they know they can drive me off to another company by being an asshat. *shrugs* We'll hope for the best. Incidentally, anyone know if AT&T/Cingular phones work in North Carolina?

Summer Plan Rethought

So I got offered a place to live off campus for roughly $250 a month (which is a whole hundred dollars cheaper than it will cost to live on campus). It's a nice place with plenty of space and pets. I'm happy about this and I think I'm going to take them up on it. Realistically I think I need a break from campus and people and just...yeah. So it should work out fine with me and maybe I'll get to revive my soul. I'll get all the alone time I need and plenty of time to read any of the books I want. I believe I'll email John Stauffer.
