One down...

German final is now finished. I have no idea what I got on it but I'm willing to bet it wasn't good. The German prof always looks at me so sadly when I leave after a test. I think he knows that I've been struggling and that I'm a good student...I just don't do well in his class. He feels sorry for me.

I have a paper due in a few hours and then I'm going to work. I have to log nine hours this week before I leave. That shouldn't be much of a problem as I don't have a test at all on Wednesday and just have one thing on Tuesday. I'm really looking forward to having everything finished. The paper has 14/15 pages written and so I don't have much else to do except tighten up some of the wording and insert a few more quotes.

Short Term and Plane Randomness

I signed the promissary note for my student loan today. I have the largest check I've ever gotten from Berea College in the pocket to my jacket right now. A whole $1249 for my January class. Considering that I only have to pay back $549 of it, I'm pretty freakin excited. It'd be nicer though if all of it weren't earmarked for things already. $900 of that is for my room and board. Plane tickets appear to keep rising for the end of January...who flies at the end of January?!? So that means my check that I got paid today will probably be combined to get me plane tickets. First things first, I will buy the plane tickets this weekend. Then I will pay my room and board. Then I will see about presents. There's no sense in not buying the tickets early as they are multiple destination and hard to buy any other way. I'll see what I can get from the army travel agent. They normally do much better on tickets than web sites.
