So Yeah...

I'm going to start ordering organic food through the co-op here in town. That makes me happy as I've been missing vegetables that actually taste like vegetables and haven't had all of the flavor steamed out them. Beyond that, therapy today and Modern East Asia are really all the constructive things I've done for the day. I've made a few decisions that I've been putting off for a while and have intentions to put them into place soon. Did I mention I'm still losing weight? Isn't that crazy? It's slowed down considerably and leveled off at a pound a week...which is healthy and makes me feel good. Although realistically I dont think this makes my body look much differently so don't be surprised if you can't tell I've lost some weight. I've changed my mind about the women's studies class I was going to take in the spring. I think I'm going to take a class with Dr. Bates, who is the prof for my Modern East Asia class, as she is totally cool. She was talking to me about what I should write my dissertation on (which is awesome to have a prof sit down and discuss with you!!! She told me I have great ideas and could totally make it...*warm and fuzzy*) I've also been playing around with some new computer stuff....it's fun and we'll see where it goes. Beyond that I'm really just kinda tired and busy. Pagan Meet tonight I hope, swimming probably and a convo of awesome music...definitely busy.

And So It Ends...

After a year and nine months Ames and I have decided to be friends again instead of lovers and partners. It was a relatively calm decision and I feel that we both will be better for it. We'll miss each other at times and it will take some adjusting, but we are going to do our best...I suppose that's really all we can do. I honestly think this is the healthiest break up I've ever had. Of course, I'm not sure it's sunk in yet because it doesn't quite hurt yet. I wish I had invested in some cookie dough as I'm sure when it hits...it'll be hard.
