So I have now seen every gaudy and tacky Christmas decoration the library has...it was scary. At some points I was tempted to go hide in a corner so all the glitter wouldn't attack me. I have never seen that many glitter covered paper snowflakes in one place. Needless to say it was an unanimous decision not to use ANY of them ANYWHERE in the section of the library we are responsible for decorating. Tomorrow we are having a labor meeting to sponge paint...I do so love the fun meetings I just wish I weren't responsible for so much of the creativity. I'm creative...to a point...but I also find that I do much better when my creativity is not held up for inspection...no one sees my artwork for a reason. I do art for myself, not anyone else.
