So I cooked up a concoction using the Indian sauce I bought a few weeks ago, some red lentils, tilapia, onions and yellow raisins. It was fabulous. The lentils cooked down perfectly. I've got the venison roast in the crockpot for dinner tonight with some onions and potatoes. I really wish I had a mixing bowl so I could mix up some bread dough. *sighs* Anyone have one to lend for the day? I do have one large bowl that I could use...I don't think the Lady would mind if I used that bowl as cooking is some of the only magick I do right now and it renews my soul...I'll have to think on that a bit. I don't have any eggs though so this is mostly a rambling discussion with no point. Except of course to say that food makes me happy.

Date: 2005-10-11 06:24 pm (UTC)From:One of the things I've begun to experiment with is seeing which ethnic cuisines help keep my emotional state on the higher end. I made Chicken Cordon Bleu, last night and found myself fluctuating... perhaps from the larger amount of meat and dairy compared to veggies; but I'm going to be trying Chicken Tikka Masala, in another week, and see what happens with my mood. I'll let you know, if you're interested... or if you want the recipe, drop me a note.
