Didn't do much today. I read half of a book I have to read for Thursday. I've also written half of my C++ program that's due tomorrow. I'm completely frustrated with this professor and I don't see it getting better over the summer. Such is life I suppose. I also crochetted over 7 inches today on the scarf I started last night. I wrote the thesis for my history paper last night but that's about it as far as that goes. I haven't done anymore laundry or put up the laundry I did Thursday. I did, however, use up the last of the egg noodles I had left and the can of tuna from my mom (MMM...tunamac). My goal is to eat the last of my non-organic food before the summer barring the baking products and the rice. I just have too damn much rice to cook it all by then. Probably not the peanut butter either. But I don't want anymore boxes/mixes of foods. I'm pretty tired of them to tell the truth. Talked to my mom today about car stuff and about the bed they are making for me for my birthday. Looks like their car is going to be $4800...there's no way I can pay that this summer. But honestly, with the $3000 I'm going to be making this summer, it doesn't look like I'll be able to buy a different car either. My parents have stated that if I'll just put some money down on it, they'll let me take the care with me back to school and pay as I can. I don't like the idea of owing them roughly $3000 for 7 or so years...I don't really see another option though. I have so much travelling to do this summer and I need to take the GRE. *sighs* I want more money. Not a lot more, just enough to pay my bills. That really wouldn't suck. Apparently my nest egg is roughly $600. That's nice to know, but I'm saving that for a deposit on an apartment sometime around grad school. Also, my parents told me today that they can't afford the plane ticket back to Oklahoma at the end of July. *sighs* Where they think I'm going to get the money I really don't know. I was talking to my mom about that today and she didn't really know what to say. I wish I could con them into paying part of my term bill next year. Musn't forget that I have to go get a new cell phone when I get paid next week. I'm not sure I have the money for that either but such is life.
