Strange...

I haven't had panic attacks since middle school. But today, every time I think about leave the dorm my chest tightens up and I start to breathe shallow and quick. This is definite proof that I've been stressing myself out too much. I don't know how to fix this. I called in sick today because the last thing I needed was a debilitating panic attack on the steps to my dorm. I didn't go to lunch, but I'm amazingly not hungry. I'm so alone....roomie is the greatest by the way. She dealt with my strangeness quite well. I can't get in to see my therapist until Monday. Guess that means I need to deal with this by myself for a bit. I'm so frustrated right now.

*hugs* That certainly could be a stress reaction. If you can, sometimes relaxation and/or breathing exercises, meditation, anything that will calm you may help. Panic attacks suck; I can sympathize w/you. Hang in there. See you soon!
