The Decision Is Made...

I haven't been talking about this much on this journal, but I really miss my family. I've only gotten to see them once this calendar year and I'd really like to spend more time with them. Since I know for sure that there's no way I can go to Boston for January term, I have decided to go to a college in Texas that is two hours away from my parents and about that far away from my grandparents. This is a really good decision for me because I, bluntly, need to get out of Berea. Beyond that, my grandfather really hasn't been in the best of health lately and I haven't gotten to see him like I've wanted to. So, I'm disappointed about not getting to go to Boston...but after looking at the classes offered in Texas I just had this sense of calm wash over me and I knew that this was the right decision for me. Sorry to all of those looking forward to my visit, but I really need this time for me and I think I'll do the best when I can be by my family.

While I will miss the oportunity to see you, I understand the urge to see family. Also, your school needs to come first. Take care of yourself. I'll give you a ring sometime soon.
