Stuff....and more stuff

I have been a bit worried about my job lately as I suddenly realized that I have no clue what I'm doing. Not only do I have no clue what I'm doing, no one is explaining things to me because they all assume that I know what I'm doing. Add to this a boss that is currently irritated because she feels like I'm spending too much research time on the background stuff and not enough on the source material and you have a very nervous Eiblyn. *sighs* I know that I'll get the hang of it but everyone is explaining everything a mile a minute up at reference and I'm lost processing...which is a first I might add...*curls up in a ball and hides*

Ask questions. You are there to learn. Not to know everything already. You are getting experience. It is your first experience. They will chill. You are okay. Take a few deep cleansing breaths. Uncurl and resume your work.

Good luck,
Have fun

Hey, love, I'm willing to bet that it's worth ten minutes of explaining on their part to prevent fifty minutes of you tearing your hair trying to figure it out on your own. ;) who wants a bald intern, anyway? 8)
