So I have had people tell me my whole life that exercising helps you have more energy. I have always have a voice in my head that screamed "LIAR!!!". *laughs* Turns out they were right. I think part of my problem has always been that I jumped in too hard, too fast. I've been working up to it and I do 22 minutes on the elliptical including cool down and 35 minutes on the stationary bicycle including cool down. That is a ton more time than I've ever done before but on the days I go to the gym, I am so much more energized for the rest of the day. I've lost more weight again. I'm down to 243. For those keeping score, that is 52 pounds that I've lost in the last three and a half months. Yay for breastfeeding!!
I went and worked out this morning. I was gone for an hour and spent 40 minutes of it on machines. Mom went with me and we had a grand time. Since I've been home, I have cooked myself a great breakfast, taken all my supplements, folded two loads of laundry and put them up, stripped the bed and put the sheets in the washing machine and I emptied the drainrack. Go me! I've also rescheduled the therapy appointment I missed yesterday to get an IUD put in. I'm holding the baby so she can get to sleep now. When she goes to sleep, I'll be able to go take a shower. Have I mentioned I feel fantastic? Because I do! Woot!
Today I got an IUD. It went smooth with no problems. Very light spotting and no cramps! *happy dance*. I also found out that I lost ten pounds in the last week and a half. I now weigh 254lbs. So go me! This inspired me to go to the gym with Mom for half an hour. Fifteen minutes on the elliptical, ten on the bicycle and five walking around and cooling off. Now I am cooling down and planning my dinner. I'm thinking a basic sauce with mini shrimp and brown rice. Yum!
